Refer to statement. Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Monday mentioned.
He wanted to ruled out holding any talks with exiled former leader Thaksin Shinawatra.
* He said any future amnesty under efforts to forge national reconciliation would only apply to political offences and not criminal violations.
teeth53 thot: * Basically, foundation is not ripe for national reconciliation.
Nothing will make Thai citizens happy without bringing those criminal charges or justice is to be seen,

Been a ruling single sided party on one side and not all concern party....This is playing politic with fire (fighting fire with fire), added on by several self-greedy political key players, a resulted in assassination attempt when extreme element is cornered by extreme empire forces.
He whom only believe force can prevail, damaged is done for extreme selffish greeded reason
This is resulted in extremist element work backup by equally powerful element, is caused by the string of...the Army...the Police...the Elitist bureaucarts (court officials), those middle class Bangkokrian...the king Privy Council (higher court officials) in out right / day light robbing and cracking down on one sided of one people's right and not d other as well.

Sondhi Limthongkul, founder of the "Yellow Shirts" royalist movement that helped topple former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, was in a serious condition and in surgery to remove a bullet from his skull.
Gunmen wielding automatic weapons fired about 100 rounds at the car in a dawn attack, The ambush took place as Sondhi, the leader of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) which mounted a nine-day seizure of Bangkok's two airports last year, He has a bullet inside his skull at the right temple. It will take some time because it is brain surgery," At the heart of the dispute has been Thaksin, a polarising populist adored by his mainly poor supporters and loathed by Sondhi's PAD and its backers among Bangkok's elite in the palace, military and bureaucracy.
The PAD held huge rallies in the streets in 2006 that opened the way for the military to remove Thaksin from power in a coup.
Media mogul Sondhi was once friends with Thaksin and at one point declared him Thailand's "best prime minister ever" - but then began a campaign against him in late 2005.
Thaksin said Sondhi wanted revenge after the media tycoon invested heavily in a new television station that was blocked by regulatory hurdles.

For whatever fault his has, he has got his vision to lead, unfortunate..he is ousted by Bangkok elites political short sighted-ness (This is the beginning of history having not been a strong Thais kingdom to look at....

BANGKOK - Thousands of supporters of ousted premier Thaksin Shinawatra rallied outside Thailand's main government offices in Bangkok Saturday, vowing to fight on until the new administration left office. The protesters spent nearly two hours marching towards Government House, arriving just before midnight (1700GMT) after making their way past four steel barricades across their route, manned by unarmed riot police.
Rally leaders read a list of demands to the cheering crowd, vowing to return and stage a permanent protest in 15 days' time if these were not met.
