Hi...how do you guys know when the IPO is out huh? Was it in the papers? I've been keeping a lookout for this since sometime ago, but I still missed it....sigh.
Ascendas India Trust (a-iTrust) reported good demand for its initial public offering (IPO). The public offer of 20 million units was about 20.2 times subscribed while the placement shares saw indications of interest representing about 46.2 times the 392.1 million units available, the trust said.
This afternoon 2pm.
When is this counter listed?
Only started to get involved in stocks from May onwards... Had a very bad experience about (I think) 3 years ago.

how abt the earlier ipos eg, unionmet, sunvic, china farm, ksh & many others during the jan till April period? did u apply for these?

Very lucky..applied 2 got 1..intending to hold on to this baby...
I think it takes another week or so before any analysts going to cover this stock.
But based on my investment in many REITs and Trusts, whatever forecast or projected yield in the prospectus for the year stated are quite accurate. Till now, they either met the yield or exceeded.
So I will expect 4.75% yield or higher for now till 2008, unless the global property market crashed. That is the risk we have to take.
I am looking at the Expected Yield to come from some/an analyst/s of the brokerage firms covering this stock. I guess these people can provide real insight to ReIT valuation (on AscendasIndT current DEPRECIATION and OPERATIONS FUND) which in turns telling us if the expect the yield WILL be line, exceed or fall short of the company's forecasted yield.
I hope I am making sense here.
