It's likely that some funds are off-loading shares to cover for losses due to subprime mortgage. I agree that fundamentally, Hiap Seng is ok and got good upside potential.

i dun think theres anything fundamentally wrong with hs. i rem it was trading ard 0.7+ earlier on in the yr. since then many beneficial developments has taken place. in fact i have loaded up more at 0.75. think the only reason providing instability is unloading by credita. they are unloading for aztech as well (which i have cut loss). shd be for redemption i guess. but credit may still be unloading just tt we cant see it now just take note

I work in the oil & gas sector and am more aware of the EPC industry than most.  Hiap Seng has worked on countless projects in our plant with the latest being a major TA.  You guys will be stumped by how much money that is flowing into their coffers!  With USD 12 billion worth of projects ongoing til at least 2012 (from the 2 big boys..those who are in my industry should know which 2 I am referring to...) , Hiap Seng will have a tough time ahead... tough time counting the money it is raking in... ha ha ha..  So tell me, what crisis Hiap Seng?

I think no problems except weakness due to unloading by a fund.  Liken it to some bad purging, after eaten bad food, feels a little weak in the knees. No need to rush to hospital or even see a doc.  After some rest and things will normalise.  Directors are not unloading and that is key to strength of the company.  So I am loading up to be ready for the upswing.

As long as the fundamental of the company is sound, don't have to worry much. What we see now is just temporary, shall see price moving up soon! :)

Hiap Seng sinking due to insider selling.

When insiders sell get out quickly before bad news breaks.

Out of it's dollar rise from 20 cents to 120 it has lost 41 cents since august-disastrous fall .
