Excellent post. 
Ya, it will take at least 5 years or so to bring the oilfield into production but the market is reacting delightfully way ahead of this. Last nite's DJ performance is a fantastic start to a good follow-fro' 2nite.

DJ MARKET TALK: Singapore Rigbuilders Higher On Oil Price Boost (2008-04-17 01:58:00)
0158 GMT [Dow Jones] Singapore rigbuilders higher again today as jump for crude oil futures overnight raises hopes of continued momentum in E&P spending. Keppel Corp. (BN4.SG) +4.4% at 11-week high of S$11.48, SembCorp Marine (S51.SG) +4.6% at 14-week high of S$3.89. "The high oil price is good news for the offshore and marine players as it should keep spurring orders," says analyst at local house. But adds picture not all rosy as companies are battling against raw material cost pressures; "there''s still the issue of rising input costs; things like steel are going sky high and that means a margin squeeze." Resistance for Keppel tipped at S$11.58 (38.2% retracement of fall to recent low of S$9.29 from October high of S$15.30); resistance for SembMarine tipped at S$3.92 (similar retracement of move to 52-week low of S$2.82 from October high of S$5.70). Keppel Corp's (Keppel) and SembMarine's (SMM) share prices jumped today, possibly on back of Petrobras' discovery of Carioca in Lima, which could be the world's largest oil discovery in 30 years. Keppel and SMM are Petrobras' main shipyard contractors for offshore production systems and thus will likely benefit in the long-term. However, this oil discovery will have little impact on the shipyards' short and medium-term earnings. It takes at least 3-5 years between oil discovery and development (the point of ordering the required offshore production system) and another 3 years for production of oil.

All hoe shei leow. AK didn't Q after 2000, instead, as I said on the other post, I Q to buy it immediately after DJ closed mid day. I got it, worth to bit it 10 bits higher so as to overtake the Q. Cheers.

My technical naked short considered sold loh, with few beers only. Must buy back one of this day. The burger behind the counter changed tactics different day leow, not easy to catch them, but I got fun to do this sort of testing.
One more test tonight, I will Q 10 bits higer(20cents) to buy immediately after 2000hrs. Ha, if it goes very high, it cover today's technical naked short one. On the otherhand, if go very low, then I buy double loh. Ha ha. Thats the thrill being working at home. Cheers.
Short or long doesn't matter much...
As long as one dumps while a loss is tiny, one is OK...

covered my SHORT at 2x11.00 ...damn...dun look like it will go any lower ...arrgghhh...

Today AK leaves SPC,but technical naked short this burger at 11.08, but missed. Got it at 11.06. 11.02 staying power was strong. Dun worry, it will definitely chow one, may be after 1500hrs, thats is the trend for players to activate things. Good luck folks.
