Looking good today even though the market is so terrible, so when sentiment improve .... supporters lets hope it to move further.

Hi Vic, please advise.

NAV improves from 18.34cents to 19.7cents, if we'll to factor in the Industrial Land (20cents/share, does it means that the fair NAV to be 39.7cents?

So, if it trades at current value of 26.5cents ==> Almost 50% discount compared to 39.7cents !

lausk22,  don't mind can you tell me how to find that particular thread on CNA? Spent 15 mins and still couldn't find it... there's no goto function, no search functions,... mean got to go through every single page to find it? The whole forum is in a mess..

Actually, the stock market beast is really neutral and harmless if we can treat it with detachment (ie. without a stubborn, forced expectation of outcome) ...

We may actually come to love it for the lessons it can make us remember ...  Smiley

I've always thought there's only one beast...

against whom man must always wrestle, tame or endear...  Smiley

Mani...my pal...;)

In the market place, there are always three beasts....

The Bull

The Bear and

Man....

........who will win depend on who you define as the hunter and the hunted or the one who preys or the prey;)

To "be a savvy investor" is another way to say to "beat the stock market"...

as if the stock market beast can be beaten... Smiley

And maybe to be a more savvy investor... we ought to re-read this other Frog parable, which we learnt as childres..

The Frogs and the Well

Two Frogs lived together in a marsh. But one hot summer the marsh dried up, and they left it to look for another place to live in: for frogs like damp places if they can get them. By and by they came to a deep well, and one of them looked down into it, and said to the other, "This looks a nice cool place. Let us jump in and settle here."
But the other, who had a wiser head on his shoulders, replied, "Not so fast, my friend. Supposing this well dried up like the marsh, how should we get out again?"

"Look before you leap."
