Dear Readers,

The consolidation period for three days has come to an end. So on Monday, the price will start moving upward gradually to pass Sgd. 0.40 soon by next week.

Dear iPunter,

Thank you for your comment. However, I am afraid, the Year 2007 though impressed you as the bear Year. In fact, it is no based. As you tell me in your comments all the events were past events and all have been factored in by market. The reason asian market anxiety is just ppl keep watching if SEA meeting in Philippines be a thread by terrorist as you can notice that other part of the world markets go as usual. That is why, I personally think, next comming Monday will be another bull day for Asian markets, touch wood, if nothing happen during the meeting.

Dear Hulumas...

Okay... But do have a contingency plan just in case the bull decides otherwise. I hope the bull is back soon. I felt jittery due to the overall world situation... most important of which is the looming fear of interest (US) rate direction.

And also... the Middle East is not too stable now than before this time. Regionally,  the Thai situation is really spooking the markets. Plus the  possible further Pyongyang nuclear tests.  And in the midst of this, the markets are all in 'top form'.

So all in all, I suppose it only takes a tiny  catalyst to tilt the nice balance of the markets in favour of the big huggy bears, although  the small  teddy bears like me are already shivering and trembling inside our pants.

It is better to watch the situation closely even if you are bullish, and be quick to exit when necessary. Wish you best, Sir.

Dear iPunter,

I am afraid, the bull is still intact, lately subjected to minor correction is considered under consolidation period and I predict on next Monday, the bull will be back, and making January effect clearer way. ( Hope I am not wrong, though with full confidence of mine).

Dear iPunter,

The game to reach Sgd. 0.88 within this year is not over yet. From now on, I am switching my Yongnam fund to Lum Chang. I prefer Lum Chang to Yongnam now, for its business nature towards related IR projects. Today I buy some again.

Dear Hulumas... :)

Since you  already have bought some, it will be good to play safe since the markets are jittery at this time and the bull appears to be sickly. If I were you, I won't buy anymore. It will be good to take some profit in view of the prevailing uncertain conditions (international as well as regional). Wish you best, okay? ... :)

Today, Lum Chang covered the gap fully at 0.345 (today's low, yesterday's pre-gap high).

May
head north again.

Dear Punter2006,

Singapore capital market is so open and transparent, I do not think some one can easilly do that. Any way to my own believe, it is not ethic and "halal" also against MAS to do any sort of manipulating move.

Hulumas is in his 50's so is a semi-retired person so I guess that is why he got so much capital at his disposal to invest? Correct Hulumas? :P

Technically speaking, both LC Dev and sister Lum Chang have broken out into new open territory after 'languishing in the gutters' for a lengthy period, just like so many other property/construction counters.

In the mid-term these are going to be the sweet-smelling market darlings... :)

Dear Giantlow,

As I place it, nothing special, just a common reason. The reason is >300% potential capital gain within the year 2007, among the best counter in the construction sector.

Perhaps, the contributers would like to state their reasons why Lum Chang would be the best?
