Standard chartered to compensate investors

Tuesday 1 March 2011:  Standard Chartered Plc agreed to buy back HK$1.48 billion ($192 million) worth of equity-linked structured products guaranteed by the now bankrupt Lehman Brothers, Hong Kong regulators said on Tuesday.  DBS refuses to buy back its own High Notes 5 sold in Singapore although it bought back similar notes in HK.  Why?
