I'm a little lazy here to do the research (not vested the reason) but want to find out more informations about CNT from those vested. A few questions as follow, hope you guys/gals can help me out.

Q1. What are the real tangible assets on CNT's book? (eg. physical assets, reserve rights,  natural resources, cash, etc)

Q2. What's the net asset values of those assets

Q3. Any existing "Put Option" on CNT unexercised? If so, details of the "Put" conversion?

Thank you. Appreciate any helps and  good nite.

The board of directors (the "Board") of China New Town Development Company Limited (the "Company") would like to announce that the operations of the Group's four new town projects that are located in the suburban areas of China's major cities, namely, Shanghai Luodian, Wuxi Hongshan, Shenyang Lixiang and Changchun have not been affected by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake in southwestern Sichuan province, Central China on 12 May 2008 (the "Earthquake").

To date, the operations are running as usual at the respective sites as all of them are located outside the region affected by the Earthquake. The Company does not expect to have any significant impact on its business operations and financial performance due to the Earthquake.

BBs could be purposely depressing it to collect cheap cheap.  Later, get the brokerage houses to highlite the facts i'd presented (you see, brokerage houses work for BBs who are their big clients)... then push the stock price up to make huge profits.

Not vested here.

I thought earthquake should benefit ChinaNewTown. CNT is not a property developer but more like contracted by municipal authority to clear land for future development by the authority or others. CNT is then paid the land clearing jobs when the authority sold the cleared lands. CNT is not involved in property development so correct me if I understand their model differently.

Why earthquake benefit CNT??? Because more damaged buildings mean more rebuildings on existing land. The damaged buildings have to be demolished and cleared. This is where CNT comes in and could benefit from this disaster, sad to say.

Not vested in this stock.

I've been buying from 28 cents. Today bought some more at 20 cents. Hope to see a rebound soon. Can't imagine IPO at 83 cents a couple of months back only.
