Metro Holdings posts 81% fall in Q4 net profit to $14.9mil
Metro Holdings, the property and retail group, said it posted a 81% drop in net earnings to $14.9 million for its fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013 (4QFY2013) from a year ago.
This sharp fall was due to a decline in other income to $5.4 million from $102.1 million in the fourth quarter of last year (4QFY2012) that included a $98.7 million gain on disposal of the group’s 50% stake in Metro City Beijing.

I have earned from Metro a lot of times.....hope can continue to do so....
Even a batch that I brought high at $1, after all dividend and the bonus issue, I still gain....
In the longer term, I think Metro will worth more...I like the stake in Tesco in various cities of china
just based on 60mins chart, today most shares traded at $0.790, the stochastic towards upward. based on the chart, if this counter need to rally up, it should break up $0.800 to make MACD golden cross...just personal opinion...no any recommendation yah. wish you huat in stock market.

The 6 cents dividend announced weeks ago and should be discounted in share price by now. After XD, share price will be adjusted accordingly and maybe be more than 6 cents. From past records , metro share price always adjusted more than dividend declared. Will it be exceptional this time ?
After XD , what can shareholders expect ? No asset sales no special dividend. JO prefers to conserve cash for his future fat remunerations.

Sure......so far, metro had been very good to me. I hope it can continue to do so.....
aiyo...where got 100% guarantee? however, that $0.06 dividend shd giving out soon. atleast once we bought, we can get 7.5% interest, higher than current bank fixed doposit 1.8%/annum. somemore, this com keep giving dividend every year.

based on ascending triangle pattern, once it sets off, the target price shd be around $0.930. since this stock going to give dividends $0.06 (7.5% dividend yield). It's good to load some and holding
