Thanks folks.
I'll hold hold hold. :)
Deriving TP for a stock is really a blend of science and arts. It's really up to the researcher to decide TP based on the PER that he/she think is reasonable. As investor, we should make our own judgement.
hi kelvinq,
if you already decided you dont trust any research report anymore, then the sensible way appears to be just ignore all reports and do your own research. Anyway decision is yours.
Hi folks,
Thanks for the link to OCBC.
I've access to a number of investor reports, including tools from Thomson Finance.
I'm curious about how people make decisions. After the insane few weeks that we had (at one point, my portfolio is 20% in red), I don't trust research reports anymore.
How then should we make decisions on company valuation?
Kelvin
kelvinq,
OCBC had issued report on Kep corp, you may click this link and you can find a detailed report in the link
http://www.ocbcresearch.com/Article.aspx?type=research&id=20071026093825_32664
Read an analyst report, tp $17+, can't remember details.
Anyway, with the screw up in SembCorp/ Semb Mar, I think KepCorp is a better choice. Futhermore, it is the world leader.
Hi,
(I'm vested.)
Has anyone here tried estimating what's the 1 year target price of Keppel Corp?
What about it's intrinsic value?
For me, it's somewhat around $15 (1 year target) and $17 (intrinsic).
