Best World delivers 4th year of consecutive growth since listing.

Revenue up 32.5% to $102.2m on broad based membership growth
Net profit up 13.9% to $13.5m
Membership base up 48.9% to 148,428
Declares a final tax-exempt dividend of 1.2 cents per share; and special tax-exempt dividend of 0.8 cents per share; total dividend of 3.212 cents for FY2007 Dividend payout for FY2007 represents approximately 45.4% of FY2007 net profit.

Nice headline and summary from the press release. Now let us look at the results report.

FY07 gross profit increased 30% from FY06
FY07 net profit attributable to equity holders: $13.5m
FY07 net profit attributable to minority interests: -$0.891m
FY07 net profit after tax: $12.613m, up only 0.8% from FY06
Net profit margin fell 15.4% to 13.2%

Don't just look at the surface. Dig a little deeper and you see very disappointing results for a hidden gem as claimed by FA people.

BWL announced that there will be a delay in the group's results announcement as a result of the bad weather conditions in China and Indonesia in the last few weeks. Originally, supposed to announce today.
