I think FY07 results are not going to be good. They have scheduled release of SCI on 29 Feb....(latest possible release date) and SM on 22 Feb. This is 1 week later than FY07 release. They are obviously struggling to resolve the FX problem.

Theory is, companies with good results tend to spread the good news earlier.......and those with poor results cram it later with the other 'johnny come lately' companies.

I prefer that they write down the losses soon and get on with life rather than drag it and leave alot of uncertainty. Afterall, they can always write back if they can recover some of the losses and look good about it. Furthermore, I don't think they have a strong case.....except for the fact that they are a TLC company.

Just my personnal opinion.

coming results should be good (when is it due?) altho likely impacted by sembmar.

don't average in yet; careful of dip below 4.72, may break below that. buy only if it can sustain the 4.9 on increasing buy vol. actually, you may not need to buy in at all...cos if can break 4.9, the next resistance is ~5.8.

just fyi ah...the elf is not liable for any of your losses or gains. Smiley

likely to go down further. support at 5.1 currently broken, on consistently high volume.

good fundamental stock with visible growth and earnings though. it's on my watchlist. have a strike at between 4.6-4.8. wld be good to accumulate this baby for long term holdings.

wld give an arbitrary 4.51 as lowest possible in a re-enactment of aug 17 panic selling.

let's see how it goes. relax, if nothing else, at least this baby gives good dividends.
