When you do business, generally you go in with the intention of making profit. Screwups along the way eat into the profit and eventually loss. This is how business works....
But there are industries that may not work in this manner. Const business is one of them.
In times, Const company will go into a business with the intentiion of making a loss. The reason is that if they don't get the business, the loss is more. Less loss is better than more loss. High fix cost......
And securing a govt contract may or may not represent a profit.
A bit of crowding will screw them big time. So watch GDP, Property price etc....very carefully if you are into this.
pure constuction firm margin too low, wee hur switch partial to commerical property and private cond in the short term and bonus issues in next month maybe a better bet
I am finding.

tat hong, though level of gearing is abit high.
valuation looks attractive at the time of holding and with div.now focus will need to change fundamentally. let the reader knows if there are any more interesting counters if you have to share. historically these are laggards stock which needs patience to see results. this year we may see some of counters we discussed here shine and double in prices. need to research on and inputs from investors who have experience in these counters. okp looks interesting as well.
lets discuss and get vested in this industry. im quite sure it will do well this year.
How about lian beng, what is the reason for your holding.

interesting. im comparing yongnam and lum chang and tee international. what u think?
i have lian beng long time back, but construction stocks really laggard, considering to get vested again.
1. koon holding limited.
any takes on the topics? what are the potential stocks we can leverage on the huge government's budget?
