Hi,
One way to find out if a stock is shorted is to log in to your poems account.
Click CFD and then Research Corner. Over there u can see Net Short Position by Volume and Contract Value.

dear sifus, how to know a stock being shortish. sometimes its not clear whether we are really hit resistant or someone shortish?
