For the nine months, the company reported revenue of RMB 2,453.2 million, profit before tax of RMB 463.9 million and net profit of RMB 347.9 million or 62.9 cents basic and diluted per share compared to revenue of RMB 1,275.9 million, profit before tax of RMB 24.3 million and net profit of RMB 21.8 million or 3.8 cents basic and diluted per share for the same period a year ago. Cash flows from operating activities were RMB 560,842,000 against RMB 16,958,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was RMB 222,503,000 against RMB 32,096,000 a year ago. To capitalise on the increased demand of AA & AE, SunVic Chemical has commenced to construct a new AA plant in Taixing City, Jiangsu Province. This new AA plant wil add a total of 320,000 tonnes of annual capacity to existing annual capacity of 205,000 tonnes. The company expects to commence production progressively from end of 2011 onwards.
