Contra is one of the seven deadly sin... I have live by contra and died by contra. I wish I can stop, but I can't and I'm just controlling myself... CFD better, got $$$ play, no $$$ no play... I have nv lost so much in trading for years... Contra I lost the most...

From my experience contra is worse than margin, CFD, Bank loan, cover warrant because time is always not on yr side. U are always held ransom when T+5 comes and know at yr door.

Contra will die a bit slower... Forex....and other high leverage products will die faster n without body remain...

It depends on how much leverage you are using. At the end of day, how much greed do you have? Can you afford to lose that kind of money?

In terms of market to market comparison, forex Is better compared to shares contra. At least it's hard to manipulate and corner by large players. And you dont have someone who never bother to query until everything is too late. Our casino dealers just want to earn our money, they dont care about our money.

I got burnt few times on contra though the amount is small. I learnt the mistake and never touch contra again. If not, I would have catch the falling knife last friday morning.

Well, money loss can be earned back again. There are things which cannot, like your health and family relationship. Cherish things that are more important in your life. Money is important but not your everything.

bro, listen to my advice:

1) you need to stop posting here and talk to some counsellor who can guide you through your current situation. there are free Credit counselling services available, and also counselling for those in debt due to gambling. (admit it , you have lost cause you gambled big time)

2) Speak to your wife and family, reconcile with them , you need their support really. Esp moral support. Whats done is done..

3) draw up an action plan on how to pay up your creditors.. if you donno how to do it.. go back to point 1, these counsellors will help guide you and point you to the right person.

quickly talk to your broker for installment plan, avoid wasting legal charges...you have to be stronger than anyone of your family members as you have to lead them out of the situation..

stay calm, and dont make implusive decision, make a plan how to pay your debts, and stick to it..spend time with family - as family is always the SUPPORT for everything 

 

 

why ppl play contra? lol high excitment + gains when played properly. but the reverse can happen.

Look at the difference between now and few months back..

few months ago, ppl get hot, REAL HOT..cause pennies started getting feverish.

popular threads started in SJ forum, some ppl even started forming grps, they started talking how much they earn from contra... every day got ppl post earnings and they get so excited they finally earn, they thank all the bros who every other day, shared tips on counters going to chiong BIG TIME.

From the beginning when they started, I already forewarn of such sharing.. its a double-edged sword.

Its tempting, its exciting, so they play play play , every moment ,.. but the inevitable is bound to happen.

 

NB: ppl need to know when you are putting your money to a game of chance in any system.. its called betting.

As one sifu one says, gambling in casino or playing stock market, its all still betting.

Thank you JarolLo. My plan is to leave my family now, and come back one day later after I have fully repaid my debts. My wife now also feel very stressful because of my debts affecting her work and emotional too. I can always around to help them when they need me.

  I don't know how to describe how I feel. My mind just can't stop thinking how to give them a better life in future to " compensate" the catastrophe I have brought to my family.

  Yes - I am working full time, now looking for part time too to have extra income to pay off my debts as quickly as possible. I am still owing my broker firm some 80 to 90k resulted from my " cut loss" last Friday. I have played too big and the pennies crash last week was just too sudden and dramatic.
