Checked on NYSE that McMoran Exploration has been increasing despite the sub-prime. McMoran Exploration is engaged in offshore oil and gas exploration. Given that K1 has ordinary, preference shares and convertible warrants in this company, it would benefit in terms of fair value changes in quoted equity investments.
