Yeah I read about it. The offer price was significantly lower than the market price at that time, I am still analysing what is the motivation behind that.

My fundamental and technical analysis points to afew interesting outcomes.

Keppel Corp really sucks, they last offered 13.3 cents to bring this vehicle private...Why no charge for insider trading ho...hahaha

Anyway, USA former ambassor is the largest shareholder with Keppel Corp being the 2nd largest shareholder...This is a success turn around story for USA that prints $$$

 

May be a good long term buy.

Dividend if approved will make it the most attractive dividend stock this year by far.

Gem or stone I still refining.

 

Hesitated and miss the boat earlier.This cld be expensive to buy now.

Transportation leasing and investment company k1 Ventures has posted a 360.5 per cent jump in full year net profit to $54.6 million.

Revenue for the year ended June 30 more than doubled to $168 million from $78.7 million last year.

A large part of the profit growth was due to a one-off gain on sale of an investment amounting to $29.8 million.

Earnings per share swelled to 2.52 cents from 0.55 cent previously while net asset value per share was unchanged at 16 cents.

hihi, need advice from you guys, is it worth to buy 40 lots of K1 @ 0.174 = $6960 now in order to get dividend $400 (40,000 x 0.01) in April? my worry is, the price will drop tremendously after ex date on 22/3/13, not forgetting that a sudden price surge from 0.15 (30/1/13) to 0.17 (31/1/13).

Waiting for it to soar higher as DJI is heading north. DJI has reached 14000 now ... Watch out for more good news to come in the near future.

Yes , I agree , time for this stock to wake up.  Used to give very attractive dividend , but has been trending downwards since 2008 downturns , though it recovered from the lowest somewhat last year, but it has not reach its fair value yet. It should be a stock worth > 0.20... It should dance with the US recovery as someone pointed out
