The trade volume seems very low. Will it end up nobody trade after dividend?

2.24 (present price) may be a good price to buy,

but if it's me, I will then dump it if it drops to 2.21 on the same day or after

Maybe, sentimental values. But, is nt a valid reason for buying this, I know.

E&E is a fantastic stock so don't need to worry. Its PCB business is the core of E&E and this firm is the third largest (as of last year) supplier of PCBs to China for the PC and chips for handphone market. There is a proviso in that when I bought from USD1.22 up, the exchange was 1.42 and it is now 1.24. With Bernanke pumping out 40bil per month, the currency markets are currently predicting a drop to about 1.19. Dividends are the lowest over the past decade or so but that is understandable because of the crash. The second problem with this stock is that the board of directors have been miffed that such a solid stock has been largely ignored by the market and have previously mader three attempts to delist. Each attempt was rebuffed but there's a danger they might try again. If you do buy in, I'd suggest making it a habit to check on the SGX announcements weekly. Cheers.

You can buy, but with so many other stocks, why do you like it? Any special reason?

Think it is one of the best buys out there on SGX. DMG has issues a strong buy call at US$3.20 for this one based on

-New plant turning profitable in FY13

-HDI to grow with Samsung biz picking up. Lenovo also very strong.

-global outlook improving

I like its strong management and good dividents it has been giving me over the years. Seems Value partners is reducing its stake for some reason so that is why the price has been suppressed for some time.

I just bought another 10+ lot last week and most of it is from ML. Value partner stake is held through HSBC but HSBC has no clearing code so would they assign ML to sell on their behalf? Any Sifu here to comment?
