
Beng Kuang Marine: Cancellation Of Shipbuilding Contract.
Beng Kuang Marine Limited wishes to update shareholders that in view of the current economic and operating conditions, the parties have agreed to cancel the contracts for proposed construction of two crane barges. The construction and delivery dates for the other two crane barges remain unchanged. The construction work in respect of the cancelled contracts has yet to commence. The total value of the two cancelled contracts is approximately S$14.4 million...Attachments:
Beng Kuang Marine Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Asian Sealand Engineering Pte Ltd has secured four contracts with an established marine group to construct four 60-meter crane barges. The total value of the Contracts are S$28.8 million. The Contracts are expected to commence in June 2011 and to be completed in September 2012.

The value of the Contract is USD21.0 million (approximately S$26.7 million). The Contract is expected to commence in March 2011 and to be completed in January 2012. The Contract is expected to have a material impact on the earnings per share of the Group for the current financial year ending 31 December 2011.

The value of the Contract is USD31.25 million (approximately S$39.8 million). The Contract is expected to commence in February 2011 and to be completed in December 2011. The Contract is expected to have a material impact on the earnings per share of the Group for the current financial year ending 31 December 2011.

Aldy sold my @0.235 @ profit only 2cts. most of marine doing well except this.. and trying to aim nordic now..

yea... support still good... managed to hold up at 0.24 even after poor results...
could be a good sign... unless there are announcements of substantial holder increasing his share from today's trading... then we all know who the sales went to..
