oakwell may retest 8cents soon.........BUY on dips
Hi ivory, any news abt oakwell? Seems this counter very quiet and keep goin down.....
Not sure whether the good news can push oakwell to Cheong........................

The Board of Directors of Oculus Limited (the ?Company?) wishes to announce that the Company had, on 20 July 2007 and 23 July 2007 respectively, entered into the following:
(a) a non-binding memorandum of understanding (the ?Fujian MOU?) with Mr Soh Dang Cheng in respect of the proposed acquisition (the ?Fujian Acquisition?) by the Company of 100% shareholding in three (3) companies (the ?Fujian Shares?) which own and operate three (3) hydropower plants in the People?s Republic of China (the ?PRC?) (the ?3 Hydropower Plants?); and
(b) a non-binding memorandum of understanding (the ?Nanya MOU?) with Xiamen Baoheng Trading Co., Ltd. (?Xiamen Baoheng?) in respect of the proposed acquisition (the ?Nanya Acquisition?) by the Company of the right to develop and therafter operate one (1) hydropower plant in the PRC (the ?Nanya Hydropower Plant?).

Thanks for your reply. I am glad this posting attracts your attention.
The outstanding receivables of 2.4 million is significant given that this is a result of a long overdrawn legal case in favour of Oakwell. The profit for 2006 was only 2.5 mill.
I have not given up on this entreprenuerial Management and I am betting on a sharp turnaround if they have already received this relatively large sum. On top of this, they should recover substantial legal costs.
Is the Company due to submit the results of the 1st Half 07 in August?
snleej2304 --- I've followed this closely for some time, I cannot remember any news on this 2.4 mil, however on their size turnover, I cannot see it making any difference. As I've mentioned in either this or other Oakwell threads, this stock seems permanently stuck in a narrow sideways movement which with the present offshore / marine bull market is not good, so I've finally given up patience & unloaded mine.
