I dun think Fed will cut rate by 25bsp cos now its not longer got to do with i/r. So wat if Fed cut rate to 0%, ppl wil still price in a risk premium of 8-10% above overnight lending rate to lend out $$. Banks business rely on trust and confidence and this is wat they are lacking at this time, no becos its Fed rate is too high or wat. Its going to be the darkest moments in US history as this crisis is no where near the bottom. If you look back at the Asian financial crisis, comparing the current one with that, it gonna be many times worse than that. |

So far not bank in our region here to go under due to subprime, but i expect to hear one soon.. I dont believe they are immune. I know alot of you here are stuck in stock, but at this point of time if your stock have gone down to say like my friend who got stock now worth 7C i suggest you just ride out the storm, or wait for bear rally and sellout...this is going to be a long bear of at least 2 years,DYODD Stock can go down 90% in a deep recession..the tactic is sell first then buy lot more at cheap later so you can break even faster when the tide turn.. And lastly, dont be sorry for yourself, good time will come, nothing is forever...Best trade and best wish for all. |

I hear rumour over the ohter side yet now that fed will cut rate tomolo by a quarter point??? That is a possibility. What esle can they do?? Did you all vested in gold and silver???..i believe they are roasted for sure for along time... Time for my gold and silver to fly..i take profit here and then a year or 2 and put that $ back to stock.. Look like next year alot of ppl will dies...out of work...retrenchment will be high..more bank ro go under...just one bank in Asia . to go under will be enough to scare fund out of this region..and we are doom. |
