MIAMI -- NCL Corp. Ltd., the parent of Norwegian Cruise Line, plans to raise up to $250 million from an initial public offering of its shares, according to an SEC filing.

The Miami-based global cruise line operator has yet to announce the pricing of its shares and the number of shares it would sell.

For the nine months ended September, NCL reported a net profit of $61,929 on revenue of $1.53 million, compared with a loss of $106,233 on revenue of $1.45 million in the same period of 2009. The company went into the black in 2009, recording a net profit of $67,233 on revenue of $1.85 million after making losses of $211,803 on revenue of $2.10 million and $226,962 on revenue of $2.17 million the previous two years.

The company is 50-percent owned by Genting Hong Kong Limited (formerly Star Cruises Ltd.). Funds run by the New York-based Apollo Global Management LP own a 37.5 percent stake and the rest is owned by San Francisco-based TPG Capital's Viking funds.

Norwegian Cruise Lines is led by CEO Kevin Sheehan since 2008. Marc J. Rowan, a founding partner of Apollo Management, is on the board of NCL, as is Steve Martinez, a partner at Apollo. TPG Capital partner Karl Petersen also has a board seat.

during the mid of 07  , gent hk starts climbing and drops down before the end of 07 , in the process forming a head and shoulders formation before going all the way down to the lows of 08 .

 if similar pattern is to happen again , what we are looking at now is a formation of a left shoulder ... a head should follow up =)

 

of course i am not a TA expert  .. just happan to came across a book on TA
