yah, i'm sticking wiht the plan and slowly picking up. longterm counters are dang stubborn tho; they refuse to fall. hmph. altho i guess, that's the value of a good fundie counter. :) | ||

very true...the light volumes are easily manipulated...be it up or down...individual counters can be controlled by the big guys out there as low volume means they can profit either way they wish to..pushing up or down

beside strengthening of the greenback, less demand of fuel, owing to global recession is also one of the reason for weakening of CO price, analysts said. ha ha, today market gonna to be dull, including the coming days ahead, analysts said again. ha ha, AK perceives that STI less strength is attributed to some locals sport supporters still can't get over Spore women table tennis elite team failed to clinch Gold medal during last nite match. Exciting Olympics field event and table tennis event this week may attract many local supporters, including foreigners. |

not sure abt the commods but completely agree with the infrastructure theme. and yea, vol is so low, you can either be a day trader or a longterm trader only.

I believe Livermore's right. One main reason why the oil price is falling is because the USD is strengthening against the other major currencies. With regards to the market, the volumes are still very low. I can almost fall asleep today watching the prices tick. It is very difficult to trade in times like this. |

Commodity stocks have taken a tumble. Some might say it is a commodity bubble. Personally I don't think so. The world population is growing and growing. Thus I think commodity is just a correction. I think oil price could resume uptrend by Nov/Dec this year.
Jim Rogers is bullish about commodity. But my number one investment theme that will last for many years is infrastructure. There is a huge construction boom in the Middle East, China and Latin America. But the best is always hearing from the horses mouth. My Bahrain friend came to Singapore and I managed to catch up with him last week. He told me there is a huge construction boom going on in his country. I am sure the same is happening in the other parts of the Middle East.
But right now sentiment rules ........... |

Bad news or good news doesn't matter... What matters is that many are still expecting a recovery right now... but the time may not be yet... The time will be here when really nearly every person you meet (including the experienced analysts), are afraid to buy into the market... In other words, when near total desperation exists... then the market will slowly move up...  |

Hope all took the earlier warning not to hold too many overnight positions. Dow broke a critical 11519 support level. Hit 11488; hopefully it can recover back a bit to above 11520. Next support 11431, 11420. | ||
