Sorry, I see. May be it didn't catch my attention, as div payout last was 1.25cts interim, tax exampt, one tier.

ha ha those I hold one I catch them one, ie GAR only given 1 ct n UOB KH, interim only 0.5 ct n some even don't hv ah. ie hyfrux water, if not mistaken etc. tai wok. cheers.

frankly, i wouldn't believe any analyst report from a House that made such bad bets, it needs to sell itself to survive.

there is no support at the 2,500-2,600 level technically fyi. 2,450 is the other major support.

in any case, more realistically: BBs are churning today and it's controlled accumulation. It's a buy, peeps, not a sell. On this kind of day, you buy.

not known of qtrly div payout but qtrly record announcement, yes.

6 mthly, interim and final div payout is common. but some even don't give as there is one reason or another. mostly didn't make profit in the preceding qtr or yr.

I reckon dividend stocks that are given more frequently like 3 monthly. And the stock must have a history of giving 3 monthly..

i will start collecting good stocks (those that constantly provide dividends, etc SPC,SPH etc) when big dips like this occur.

The trick is to buy in instalments..so you won't be caught if there's a catastrophic decline or rise.

next round the corner is SGX. XD on 8 Oct on 29cts div, payout on 22 Oct. quite tempting ah!!!

SGX now 5.94, yesterday closed at 6.10.

One of our sifu's prediction comes true liao, <6.00. Splendid!! Much wishes he/she give the next near bottom line, for reference only. Tks in advance.

The STI Index keeps breaking it's support level and it's now already in the 2500 range. It is due to big selling of component stocks. I reckon it may reach the 2400 range before another rallying up.

Maybe it's a good time to buy into STI stocks. What do you think?
