Got to thanks UBS for her act, giving a chance for retailer to clear their position. just wondering for how long support will be coming for UBS to keep buying, somewhere along the line UBS got to let go, isit poor retailers going to get hook. It always happened that way, alway banker win. I believe U has vested a large sum in the 1st instant & i wish U win too. |

UBS act as a 'stabilizing' Agent for Banyantree IPO- how to be 'stabilizing' Agent if have no strong financial backgrounds and supports?????. I'm never angry but disgusted at your 'childish' comments - of course, you're entitled to your opinions!! Cheers! Thank you Nostradamus for helping to clear the 'doubt' and your insights on Banyantree. Sometimes, you've to look at the intangibles in order to understand the values of a Company, especially service orientated ones. Rgds. |

Well it's very good now that UBS, Swiss banker got real $$$ to support prices beyond $1/- jus like arab oil $$$ on milk., oso $1/-, hopefully both can reach $1.50 cents. yahh...then hoh....No need to be scare liao & oso no need to get angry liao. Ten4one, i mean Banyan ipo wrong timing & oso price is abit stiff at $0.97 cents. Congrat..wishes U make some $$$. |

At $0.97, Banyan Tree is trading at FY05 PER of 57x. May look expensive, but that's because net profit plunged after the tsunami. Its business has recovered strongly. Its FY06 PER is 14x, in the mid-range of its peer group. However, P/Book NAV ratio of 2x is on the high end of valuations, indicating that potential contributions from development activities and management contracts could likely been priced in. Foreign exchange fluctuations of the US dollar could impact earnings upon conversions. |

humm... maybe UBS is saying, me got plenty of $$$ (see big boys is watching) and did a good job today to buy up on good news all over the world, jus wondering how long it can support it price before it let go, so bull for today, beware of trap, bull trap and don get stuck buying high. |

Hi swkee28, Bayan Tree was established in 1994 and within a short period of 12 years, it has done very well in creating a Brand Name in the Resort Life-style Services. Just like a bayan tree, it has spreed its roots and formed a very solid trunk that will take more than a tsunami to uproot it. I must agree that the IPO's px is stiff; but, then again good things seldom come cheap. It is good to start nibbing as I believe you'll never be able to catch the bottoms or the tops. This counter is definitely for the longterm investors. Let me advise to those who have no appetite for capital loss to keep away from Stock Investments! Cheers. |

Today trading prices is well support by big boys, rather then been short at even shortise don want to short at for nothing just in case prices might went up knowing big boys is watching, rather it is the wrong time to sell this share, so is lost, lost senerio, cut lost better than lossing more, perhap it is cheap now, can even buy back cheaper after dust have settle. |

See sharejunction (invester sentiments forum) and U can get your answer. Offer cut from $1.07 cents to $0.97, it 1st day trading, even lower then d considerated lowest price of $0.87, down from $0.935 to test $0.85 cents. (-13cents or -12.37%), after it honey moon is over, prices may test it IPO price again, likey to be a slow climb. |

For long term investment, better watch Banyan over the next few days. First three or four days are usually for daily traders who either contra long or contra short. Historically when a stock opens below IPO price, it does not forebode well for its performance As the float size is too big for comfort, its uptrend is likely to be muted in the short term. |
