Be careful of the "bubble" in China. Hope their government will have measures to contain that bubble from bursting. There a plot of land in somewhere near old Woodlands area with building being constructed, but left "vacant". People in the semi-conductor line will know what i meant by the bubble. And those whom have close China friends, no harm asking them what happened to the many of companies that have folded in the past 1 year. What caused the collapse? And will the average people there be able to afford their housing loans if their employment is affected? |

If STI fall 95% , all the singapore currency will be worthless. Look at Iceland. So we all must invest a little to support the STI. If we are like iceland any TA and FA will be disregarded in these situation. |

this capitulation thing had been revolving around and around for some weeks...remember when we keep seeing captions from the analysts and experts trying to catch the bottom but failed to... this sentimental market is just ...very hard to... well, our STI very much dependent on that day's DOW Futures

The Dow is close to capitulation and the rally would be sharp and high once this point is reached. We would then expect STI to trend as well. One event to watch would be the coming US election which is only 2 weeks away. |

becareful.. DBS might need to write down profit due to buy back of minibonds, decreasing fee incomes and also most important increase in default rates will increase provision for bad debt. | ||||

Yah, it's worrisome as STI had fell from high of 4,000 to yesterday's close of 1,920 (about 50% discount). How low can STI go in this climate, bottomless pit! If we apply fibonacci retracement: Peak - 4000 62% is 2,480 - BROKEN 50% is 2,000 - BROKEN but Floating 38% is 1,480 - Will we ever visit here?
