STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

There is no way to conclue the direction of STI but blue chip yield stock will still be the best bargain in bear market, the worst case scenario. http://investsgx.blogspot.com/2008/11/yield-stock-in-bear-market.html As long as blue chips dun go bankrupt, they will back to normal day one day. Therefore, invest, but only invest the money we can spare for not less then 5 years. Cheers! |

My son saved my day! Morning have no time to monitor the mkt as I need to run errand for my son. Looking at the fall of DJ overnight, I know this morning no eye see lah! Just came home and witness the climb of STI to almost break even from -100pts. Sold off my SIA as I dun think afternoon will be a continue climb. Looking at the break neck speed of recovery, I am sure the afternoon will either no have more strength to create new high or profit taking kicks in. Which ever way, the STI will fall in concert with the rest. The only way to climb further is to rely on DJ Futures which the regional Exchange will follow suit, that includes STI. STI break for lunch with DJ Futures +107, HSI +109 and Nikkei -206. If at 1.55pm these indexes shows a significant climb from current figure, then got chance lah. If just a mere increment or a drop, then watch out for a fall of STI. The fall is usually is faster than the climb. So trade cautiously, cheers! |

Agreed. STI always have amazing recovery one...from -ve 100 to now -ve 30plus...End of the day maybe end flat...hee hee..so dont worry

I would think recovery will be from 2010. 2009 will be a tough year......more bad news to come. Just my opinion. |

Few days ago, some wise guy stating in the paper that USD bubbles could be coming soon. Wild printing is one of the main reason. When time comes, must buy gold or platinum put under the pillow liao.

Today's Straits Times article " Crisis to last till mid-2010" until housing prices in USA recover - predicted by Dr Sakakibara (aka Mr. Yen). Hmm... long wait before investing in long-term shares again or what else to do at the moment? |

Whoever, Amah partner with who, no different, as US foodprints are too wide.
