STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

I keep a trading diary on what i buy for the day , my thought at the time. I find it quite useful, when i look back i realise smart and stupid mistake i made. Definite improve my trading and profit figure. Everytime see the commission incurred, feel like going to be a remisier. |

Don't worry, I too anticpated STI to drop -80pts but it did not happen. I am glued to DBS the whole day hopping it dropped below $10.00 maybe to $9.60 and I will start snapping up, but it did not happen. Intraday short in this kind of climate is disadvantage. STI usually drop on open tracking DJ's LS overnight, but is normally quite resilient during trade. I will usually short when DJ ended high but Futures showing negative. And if STI opend high due to euphoria on DJ gain, many a time the interest will wane after 10am. $$ is made in such scenerio but still get burn at times when STI bucked the regional trend, especially when HSI opens higher.

In financial turmoil, powerful man in US and China words can move the market. (Like sheep dog, barking at the sheeps to go any direction the owners wan) Market sentients again rule in such situation, some will follow the trend, some will stick with rules, some are just only watching Say something good, market up 5% one day. Say something bad, market down 5% the next day. So easy to make money, by drafting a good speech can move billions of dollars both ways. The difficult part is how to be buddy with these people, before they give the speech to the world. Can retire before the crisis end, if u got the connection. $$$$$ |

Yoh, even with coy posted huge profits also went into red. Banks kena badly hit while market opened. Wondering was it attributed to one gentleman denied something related to Sands. AK guess only lah. No call for anything. |

Today it's supported by Singtel, SIA, SPH, Wilmar, Semcorp.....to offset the losing banks which many analysts have painted a bleak pictures recently. Our banks are really as bad as their western counter part meh? | ||||

yes short term still can play.....either contra or short [better within same day] cos nowadays market sentiments change fast, rain 2day sunny 2morrow or rain rain then sun then rain sun sun then rain n it goes on n on. | ||||

Thats why today paper, 3 investment houses graded DBS TP below 10, one even given 9. Tai wok liao. But short term still can play around lah.
