Sch holiday liao loh! Most traderrs/BBs are begining to close their book for this year but some value investors/Funds are still trying to bargain hunt what could eventually be the "survival of this downturn"...thus, you see ST, SPH, SIA, Wilmar, UOB....rising today. Just my view. Hehehe.

Not that bad liao, today vol likely will maintain around 900m as compared

to 640m clocked on 22 Aug ds yr, STI then was 2723.30.

Ha, surprisingly counter SGX kena wacked below $5.

Sensible. However, AK worry is that, if GM US, collapsed, the

lower band may not hold?? As DJ may pull it downwards.

Though today Asian bourses didn't react strongly, despite

DJ down 337.94 pts, last Fri.

Perhaps owing to G20's promises.

Noble, lately added into AK monitoring list liao. Its FY is Dec.

Last FY gave 24.8 cts div. Its last 3QR shown good profit.

Henceforth, looking forward to its business loh.

Above not a buy call, but just sharing what AK perceived.

Some say market might head lower. But to me the day when market went down to about 1475, some penny stocks may have bottomed out. If they have not, even if you bought then the risk is very minimal. Take for instance Nobel Group. When it was 40c, the downside risk is minimal. Stocks cannot be 0 cents. For an index stock like Noble, maybe in a very unlikley senario of 10c to 20c weigh the risk from 40c to say 20c, the risk is low.Some blue chip counters went as low as $1.20. Thus I am not sure if some stocks will revisit their lows. If market does come down further, then the ones to watch will be the blue chips as they are the ones that have more room to slide down. A former blue chip at near $1 is a better buy than some of the penny ones.

Market can keep crashing but for some stocks like Golden Agri, they come down like 0.5c to 1c.

Buying on the slide could mean catching a falling knife but some times when you weigh the risk. It is still worth the catch but maybe not in a big way and gradually average up in maybe 2 or 3 steps.

I am damn bloody surprised that STI can head higher, though the volume is extremely low at 125mil traded. That saved many today thinking DJ overnight -350pt, STI will follow suit.


Going forward, with G20 indication of boosting the economy, if any state can come out to commit some numbers, I am sure the mkt will fly! Cheers!

 Alert Admin 		traded yesterday 915mil, today 811mil....such low value vols cud only mean ppl sidelined cos of uncertainties regarding when recessions in euro-zone, japan, hongkong n other countries/zero growth/dwindling growth/job retrenchment/usa falling house pxs/usa housing foreclosures wud end......6 mths, 12 mths, 18 mths, 24 mths, 30 mths from now???.......nobody knows, so everybody is waiting 4 all these uncertainties 2 stabilise b4 going into markets.
