Balls carrying as usual. leopard never change its spot except from spot to spot....old habits die hard.
anyway idesa168, yes money can be made anywhere but if you there will always be ponds where there are more fishes and bigger fishes to catch but not necessary means easier. if two persons is to have the same set of fishing skills and luck and u put them in two diff ponds, the one in the ponds with more fishes where have more catch. IT happens even in real life scenarios , just take a look closely.

If you are sharp enough, one mkt will be able to make $$. LONG & SHORT, both can make $$ if timing is right. History shows buy and hold for last 20 years will see investment doubling in value. It's probably US was spending advance $$ and that habit lasted a remarkable 20 years. Now reality sits in, bubble burst, dust that were swept under the carpet are discovered. I am not surprised US goes into bankruptcy and China emerged as leader while Europe dreamt away. Now we are know how US became the world no 1 economy. It's because they spent more than they can earn. They lasted till today all thanks to the creative packaging of these loans and sell to the world. Those countries wanting to curry favour the world no 1 hence buying those loan packages without asking what's in it. Now they have to hold the American babies for them because of their irresponsible act "sex without condom"...hehehe! I think today's mkt will sell short as the DJ closed flat but Futures is dipping. Today's movement will not be great. Put Warrants might be the choice of play today. NV! |

DOW rejected sub 8000 and recover. I think 8000 will be the next strong support. as of now dow is testing the new found resistance turned support at 8400. | ||||

Like to seek anyone's view on the following scenario: Given currently "general" downtrend and uncertainty of market... If let's say last friday open a new position (buy), then today so happen market no drive and things went down... - If you are trading using cash account, how much lost (in %) would you accept before cutting loses? - If you are trading using CFD account (assuming x5times leverage), how much lost (in %) would you accept before cutting loses? - And if the price drop below your cut-lose limit, would you continue to hold, assuming that still have sufficient cash/margin? # In your response you may like to qoute any counter/prices for your illustrations. The above is asking in general, would like to exchange some fellow trading styles/ideas for widening references. Thanks |

UOB shld be announcing their retrenchment plans in Dec or early next yr. Those that bought Citi at 3 plus dollar should be quite happy after tonight. |
