Thousands of years ago back in biblical times, there was this story. Joseph, son of Jacob, sold to Egypt as slave by his very own brothers. He rose to be Pharoh's favourite fortune teller and decipher of dreams with God help.. 7 years good and 7 years bad, for the land and he advised Pharoh that the kingdom must save and save during the 7 good years. Egypt then saved part of the harvests of the good years. Then came 7 years famine and Egypt was able to overcome the terrible time of the world and everyone flocked to Egypt for help.. Moral of the story: America is now Egypt. So with bailouts and helps from the riches stored in the treasury, I hope things during this bad crisis can come to pass and all people will live and not die. God bless America.. | ||||

with jobless claims surging every day every week.. no matter how big the bail outs will only be temporary relief.. cos no jobs means no spending..means no dd for goods.. its a vicious cycle man.. markets rallying?..don't kid urself ..read between the lines.. Economic news: Jobless claims continued to surge, according to a government report released Thursday. The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits rose to a 26-year high of 573,000, up 58,000 from the previous week and a bigger surge than expected. The number of people continuing to collect unemployment also hit a 26-year high. Another report showed that the trade gap widened in October, although forecasts were for it to narrow. The widening reflected the recent plunge in U.S. exports as the economy has weakened. The U.S. has been in a recession since December 2007, according to a National Bureau of Economic Research report released last week. A majority of top-level executives think the recession will last at least another year, according to a survey by Duke University released Wednesday. | ||||

STI dropped alot during closing bcoz Dow Futures suddenly dropped alot during STI closing..Senate blockage of auto bailout is definitely not gd news & the bailout plan may drag (as in the case of the 700B bailout plan previously).. Let's see how Dow fares tonite..bad news all over the place.. |

2morow is TGIF. After the 2 days high gain, today saw profit taking. 2morow would likely follow suit. No new n special stimulus except the impending 3 auto giants faith under debate fr congress. China consumer inflation drops on growth slow, a 22 mth low. Thailand comsumers confidence dropped. Japan, only Honda corp saw some light as US auto giants now got temp bailout hope. No other good news, EU market now is on slight red. Guess DJ tonite may not hv strength.

Heavy profit taking whole day and sold down whenever the market a little up. Most people would have taken profit by today. Tomorrow is going to be a bright day because funds become available for dabbling again. Hope I am correct.

Make sense. Good penny stocks now cheap n good. In long term, once sees good time, the multiplier gain could make returns in steps of hundred % is possible. Acc Bio n Golden Agr at 26cts n 18.5cts lately. Hope they dun look back again.

Good time to bargain hunt for averaging down what you bought high those pre-crisis days. Buy blue chips for short term profits trading in and out, small and medium caps if you want to grow your money. I believe small & mid caps offer future high gains if you buy and keep say for a year. The reason is the percentage gain is very high because a lot of counters are played down from above a dollar. Examples: If DBS go to $15.00, for every $10K you make $5K, i.e. 50% If Biosensors go to $1.20, for every $10K you make $30K i.e. 300% If HLG goes to $0.45, for ever every $10 you make $65K i.e 650% These are 3 simple examples to think about. They have historical highs higher than the above examples. So my suggestion is to buy and buy the penny stocks more than the bluer chips. Make a million by 3rd Qtr of next year!!!! Make your dreams come true!!! |
