STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

Monday early morning STI sure'll drop lah... All counters'll b e worst especially Bluechips. Even lastnite Dow dropped -154.48pts. Whether STI'll recover abit aft a huge fall on Monday, will base on Hangseng's recoveries' action liao... If Hangseng started green in e late aftnoon. STI might recover... Pple who r holding Bluechips'll usually sell in e early morning on Monday 1st. Once sold they'll wait... Mayb they'll turn in 2 buy cheap px 4 Mid & Small Caps later depends on STI's recoveries. Of cos, all Mid & Small Caps'll oso drop too on Monday early morning. Those Ctr Players & pple dat r holding shares during bot on STI below 1,800pts usually they'll sell 1st. 4 those pple bot shares during Sep09's rally which they r holding now. I guess they wun sell lah. They'll hold till STI climbs 2,750pts again nxt yr... Pple now r v v worried... Me too. Hope there wun b another bad news again aft Dubai's case... Nowonder STI has dropped -30.62 last Thursday. Sm pple might oredi noe Dubai's case liao... But I'm juz hv a feeling dat tis cming Thursday might recover, especially Mid & Small Caps... ('',) |

It is not the end of the story ! Restructure loan but think again that they are oil rich, so the problem should be temporary. But with this news, it give rise in opportunity in big swing in stock maket. So some smart guy should makes money from it. STI drop 30+ where HSI drops 400+ on Thu, so the -1050+ HSI is over-react. See Europe and DJ that this issue shuold be it. STI will probably back to 2710 and should recover in few days. Don't panic, trade with care |

Its is a chance to buy blue chips again especily banks counter. just think over, one year ago during 'leman brother' period if you buy banks counter. your had 'Huat' how many time already. So don be panic, treat it as another opportunity. | ||||

It is for sure that STI will drop below 2700. Supported at around 2680. So better be safe that sorry, dispose first at high and buy back when it retreat. I will sell all my holding and wait and see first, monitor the situation. |

Anyone know what is our exposure to Dubai in general? Is our bank expose to Dubai borrow like HSBC? Has our Thursday STI -30.62 already absord and react to the Dubai financial issue? |

why u change your stand??? but i like it....i believe dollar will soar hard come 2010..any recommendation to profit..fr this.. i thk i will buy those listed on DOW to long the dollar , those which will doulbe when dollar soar..
