actually..i was abt make buy call on Swiber, as i got news of it winning contract..but i afraid guy here got stuck again and dont konw how to cut..so i hold back.. it is good, becos i didnt know Dubai come on to the scene...now i guess Swiber may not soar as high.as i tg....those i pm pls take moderate profit and be happy.. if u loss on this counter...blame Dubai..not me.. |

Just ask...60 to 80b...cna cause world upheavel???funny.....and a place call Dubai... ppl may use this opport to buy cheap...but mkrt still will come down..i as a buyer will definitely q low low and wait...but those panic or weak guy will throw...BBB use this oopport to shart and make $$$.. i thk use this opport to buy more sinomem and sinotel...and use stop limit for current one... and lastly...even if you loss 50% of your holding...and say this crises really trigger the correction of 20 to 30%....you use stop to sell...never mind the losses...trust me...just sell to protect your capital fr eroding further and dont jump in...till next year.. so when low come .i will post here...hopefully u buy at near low...then u will have chance to break even and prehap see sopme profit... and dont give up...and listen to bearish post here that tok like there is no tomolo...and feel sorry and sad... remember we are at sti 2700...we will see sti 5000..yrs fr now..dont be disturb by those who post here to make you worried..eveb if you just sit thro...i believe you bought those stock will be worht much higher than they are today or Monday or even anothwr new low... But ppl will say again to disturb you...u miss opport...NO..u are going to see what u bought fr May to Nov easily double your buying px... so cheer up...rmember those who post here..charto os whatsoever are just as novice as all of use here....even if he is WB...he still cannot really "see" the mrkt... so why worry over his post??? if u dies dies must buy...just buy 50% on Monday, then tuesday anothe 25% and then the rest on Wed... |

Her face always look worried...I remembered reading somewhere about her reaction when opposition MP questioned her something. She could'nt reply satisfactory or can't find the numbers. She was lucky her boss & the Speaker dint gave her a hard session.

Abu Dhabi not bailing out all of Dubai's crap. So maybe blood on the streets next week ? Look at the way our MAS spokesperson explained that our banks are not in deep trouble - her words and face expression just dun match. She looked and sounded very worried ! Could this be the start of wave C? We'll see...

Hmmm...looks like the only way out is to hold whatever stock in hand if don't want to lose money. Unfortunately what I'm holding like Armstrong for almost 3 mths but still haven move up to 27 cents. SPH also dipping looks like have to hold long long

Wat if FTSE100, DAX & CAC were juz a temp recovered? If u hv alot of monies in a Bank & e Bank has borrowed Dubai alot of monies. Do u start worry? Wld u react like HK pple draw all e monies out? Wat'll happen if pple r rushing 2 e Banks & draw all e monies out? Presently shares on hand dat I'm holding. Dat was bot during Sep-Oct09 b4 STI reaches below 2,700pts. Actually I was planning 2 sell when STI reaches 3,000+pts. So I always asked myself not 2 worry. But tis Dubai's news... & looks like STI wun climb abv 3,000pts liao. So I hv no choice & 2 hold until STI recover again. Juz 2 treat it as a long long term investment unless I need cashes. Tis Dubai's case... In S'pore, killing's an offence. If not...

anyway thks for the nice story. From my view, i m more optimistic i think come monday sti index wont drop so much because we already drop 30 points on thurs and fri already gone and furthermore europe side all up so fri although dow drop 150+ points thats bcos they didnt trade on thurs so i still think the impact for this dubai thingy has already set in for the last few days already. Care to share your view?

Let me tell u all a story... One day, Tom published 2 sell his car away on website (sgcarmart.com). Tom was planning 2 sell @ $50k. There were 5 paxs called up in a day. 1st pax asked SGD 48k. Of cos Tom wun sell cos his target price's SGD 50k. A few hrs later 2nd pax asked SGD 46k. Tom told him "No". & later followed by 3rd pax asked SGD 44k. Tom replied him dat b4 him, there was a guy asked SGD 48k & he himself oso din sell.... Late aftnoon, 4th pax called & asked SGD 42k. Tom has rejected him... & Tom started 2 worry. Cos now his car only worth SGD 42k. If Tom has sold it 2 e v v 1st pax @ SGD 48k in e morning. Tom wun b hv 2 loss so much liao. So late evening e 5th pax called & asked... Guess wat, Tom told him dat he wun sell liao. He hurriedly off his Hp, & go 2 bed. Tom wishes dat nxt morning there'll b a pax can use more dan SGD 42k to buy his car... & he'll sell it away... ('',) Thursday actually's my guessing dat STI might recover only... Nothing special on Thursday lah... ('',)

Where got go Malaysia? He just commented wat. This forum is now a tug of war between longs and shorts over a silly Dubai crisis. The really dumb asses are the ones who believed that investing in a desert can be profitable. Haha, the Arabs have again managed to fool modern people just like they fooled ancient foreigners that there indeed had a thing called "oasis", but actually is only a desert mirage ! Stupid bankers !

The matter-of-fact, tis cming Monday early morning u'll c no body'll dare 2 buy shares... & not even set low low buy too. They'll throw wat ever price if sm pple dare / willing 2 buy. Of cos, if happened dat STI falls till 1,800pts nxt wk. I'll sell my present car away & buy in more. I'm not worried actually. If I force 2 sell all my shares on hand. I only loss SGD15k-18k... But I'm v v worried abt Hangseng. If Hangseng no improvement on Monday late aftnoon. More worst'll b cming. & later Dow Jones'll b red red too. During APEC meeting in S'pore. STI tried v v hard 2 climb almost abv 2,800pts. Resulted all Bluechips stocks climbed. But Mid & Small Caps din climb but still dropping. Looks like all Bluechips'll b left bones on Monday onwards. Hope Thursday Mid & Small Caps climb...

LONDON, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Rising bank stocks led a broad rebound in European shares on Friday from the steep fall in the previous session triggered by concerns over Dubai's debt. The pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 index of top shares ended up 1.2 percent at 999.59 points following a 3.3 percent fall on Thursday - the biggest daily decline in seven months - which traders felt was overdone. Banks added the most points to the index, though nearly every sector gained. BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA), Banco Santander (SAN.MC), Barclays (BARC.L), Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX), Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE) and UBS (UBSN.VX) rose between 1.2 and 2.8 percent. |

Bon3260, if your trading style is technical, u should not be to worry come Monday right? Unless u are not as what u claim to be. Remember, when there is a crisis, there is always opportunity. Worrying won't help in your trading. Take a step back & plan what is your next move, definitely not v v worrying about the situation. | ||||
