Don't just overlook the years in which you will be "pok" before you will finally break-even. And that is assuming you can even break even. Long term investment is nothing more than long term speculation- ie. you are betting, albeit with an air of confidence, that it will go up to your price in the long run.

whats happening is all these are tremors first sti will go a bit down only after sometime, the bad news will come and sti will go down much more like the last timeit takes some time ............................ |

noble and dbs i alr got them long long ago, dbs rights was at 5.42, that time i was allocated with excess lots, so din want to add on with this px. uob was picked bcos of the results announcement in the afternoon which i posted separately in the uob thread, good set of results and consistent cd payout.

u lucky to pick uob ma... same thing didnt happen on dbs.. stuck at 14-14.2 lately.. those who pick noble also easily 2 cts buffer.. if dja n europe don red tonite.. mon sure got kopi $$$

anyone noticed... first half... BB keep forcing noble grp range within 3.08-3.14 with fake q.... but overall net buyers... 2nd half.... then managed to break 3.14... closing then become 3.17... BB no need to pay brokerage like retailers still so cheapskate..

uob was solid, i bought in at 18.46, when i switched back my screen, i tot my eyes failed me, but it was closed with matching at 18.64, really thanks to your tip, quicky bucks...keke:)

Who is pinning STI down to? I think Genting short down its own share so that we lose money and must visit their casino instead of sitting infront of our computer buy/sell shares. Singapore pools want us to go queue up and buy Toto. Wall Street traders all flipping out. So, we cld only see more movement next week. lol1
