There is nothing to Buy!!!

I literally cannot find any stocks to buy.

The recent STI crossing the 3,000 mark has made all good stocks rise to a level that I consider too late to Buy.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm turning my attention towards US market starting tonight.

ask urself is it better to take profit on an up day

or a down day?

Nobody can sell at the highest high..

nobody can buy at the lowest low..

but what u can do is not make a loss by taking profit when it is overbought, yes it may go higher..but it will have to correct before moving further

again.. stocks do not go up in a straight line..

I share the same sentiments as you.. But then again this 3000 level seems to be holding pretty well.. plus with the earnings reporting coming in we might expect to a higher boost lifting up the market.. stocks r trading in a tighter price range.. maybe the market needs to catch its breath..

Let's see how the market action unfolds...

Hi all, good news here.

Asian stocks mkts will continue to grow strongly in 07 led by China, India and Vietnam, says analysts from HSBC.

While a global economic slowdown is inevitable this year, they say regional markets could still realise compounded returns of 10 percent in the long term.

They believe that Asian markets will remain attractive in the next 5 to 10 years - with industries like IT, materials and industrials forecast to rebound sometime by the middle of the year.

But they also caution that valuations are too high in some markets like Singapore, making them relatively expensive to investors.

Garry Evans, Pan-Asian Equity Strategist, HSBC, says: "Singapore is typically a fairly defensive market, and in an environment where cyclicals are doing well, Singapore probably doesn't do quite as well as that. Our target for the ST Index is 3,200 for the end of 07, which gives about 7% upside during the course of 2007.

"The other worry I have about Singapore is that it's getting slightly expensive, you have now a forward PE ratio of 16 times versus an average since 2001 of 15. I think Singapore will do okay - you will get some positive returns, but frankly there are more interesting markets in the rest of Asia." - CNA/channelnewsasia.

Just my tot (teeth53), ST index will look to China and India more often then Dow. :)
