the gunny sach, even if found guilty, would at most pay a fine of less than US$1 billion only.. peanut for gunny sack. their yearly bonus alone top that many times over. same apply to the rest of those banking rascals who cheated their innocent clients. the long term fallout for the banks is not so much the fine but their reputations. clients may be less inclined towards those rascals in future. anyway, gunny sach got more problems coming soon in the european union. the eu looking to use this gunny sach as punching bag too. ya right! buy good stocks for the long haul.

If STI is to drop below 1900, the most likely cause would be China's property bubble burst. Today, China government has ordered local authority to stop speculative buying. This has spook many investors and causes more pressure to today's market slide. However, I don't think the bubble has burst yet, this is just "releasing some air" from the bubble. There is really no concrete action from the Chinese government or any property company collapsing. |

haha, agreed with u..... those who are undecide and read too much here will be fustrated men... especially when in bull, the Bull MFT keep on asking u to buy and buy than suddenly the market drop.... then the bear MFT ask u to sell and sell, then sudden the market cheong....

relax, knightrider... 1900 nothing to do with minister.. i agree with you not likely to go so low just because of that gunny sack (goldman sach). a pullback is healthy .. like repeating 3steps forward and 2steps back.. by the way, your midas, when/or target you want to take profit?

the whole goldman sachs court verdic will take a while to decide... it is better not to panic sell first...wait for the picture to be clearer then decide... the expected good quarterly result should be able to recover some good stock... however, if the court order turn out not in favour to the goldman and USSEC take more bank or financial insitutions to court then i believe it will trigger to whole market to sell down liao.......... last but not least ask those ars hole to "jia sai' by painting sure a good picture of the economy is recovered liao... |
