Perhaps a word of clarification will be in order. I never short and long at the same time counters in the same sector. This is because different sectors can march to differing beats and tunes. Thus, although I am overall long as well as short in the market, my counters are selected strictly on the basis of their chart positions and profit potential. In other words, unless there is a panic-type market-wide crash, my investment technique should yield good overall returns. |
