 Alert Admin 		The best way to prevent excessive shorting is to impose a limit of quantity on short trades per person or per account.  Banks and financial institutions should be barred from shorting because they are the only ones using other people's money and doing shorting means taking money from clients and depressing their assets in return.  Wake up bright ones who lead in the global stock exchanges if you really want a healthy stock market where values are not eroded wilfully!

 Alert Admin 		This is called making money out of thin air, the stock market.  Short down the price and then buy back at the lowest.  So sometimes wonder what is the stock market meant for investors.

With one billion dollars, you can short one counter slowly until it reached half cents and at least half of 1000 millionaires will be pokked except the one with the billion.  Just who has the billion in Singapore? Can find quite a few names. LOL.

Yesterday's STI falls is a major event. It's a strong Bear Signal.

It was trigger by the Conference Board revising China's economic index from 1.7% to 0.3%.

Market is now worry about China's Slowing Growth and Property Bubble, Europe Sovereign Debt Crisis, and US Poor Recovery Data.

I'm expecting STI to draft lower from now on.

I'm already starting to sell some of my counters and taking whatever profits I can.

The Bear is Back.

I was hoping this Bull can stay until end of World Cup, but seems like it wants to leave early.

We'll see how the events fold in the couple of weeks, but I don't expect much up lifting until Aug.

I'm not an expert in Elliot Wave, but I do know the basics, so I'll try to explain why his analysis is wrong.

You should know that Elliot Wave is just a theory. Unlike other TAs, it cannot be explained by economics or by historical data.

Elliot Wave is drawn by people on the low and high points on the chart and they can draw the waves at any point they want to make it fit their theory. This is why I don't trust Elliot wave analysis.

Elliot Wave moves in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 up-waves follow by A, B, C down-waves.

He could be right that we are in Wave B. However, he conclude that Wave B has ended and STI is bearish.

But based on my MA 20 and MACD analysis, we are just in the beginning of the Bull Run.

In another word, we are just in the middle of Wave B and not the end, so STI is still Bullish, not Bearish.

I don't know when this Bull is going to end, but I think we may see a fall after World Cup.

If he is to say Bearish then, I would have agree with him.

But now, I don't see any Bear.

STI, steady lah! Now, clinches at -18.17, a mere 0.64% decline,despite previous nite pensan to down 2.6%, and DJ index fell below 10k again.

Previously, STI normally rcv knee jerking effect fr DJ. But nowadays, seems like STI is in quarantine against both the limpping DJ as well as EU liao. Hope it continue loh.

DJ is still far below its 200MA, as current trends go, may not be optimistic liao. STI didn't fail greatly, its above 200MA could be strong hold, along the way. Hope for the best mah.

Time for happy hr liao. Cheers.
