 Alert Admin 		Let me show you the unfair part........ not all the counters in SGX catagory allowable to be CFD counter, also why some counter is only suitable for long and likewise some counter is only for short?! What does it imply for?

I had always thought that the Stock Exchange (SGX) is only a market provider and regulator of the market-place and thus, matters relating broadly to investments, etc would not come under their immediate purview.

I should think that for such matters, an economic or monetory authority would be a more appropriate agency to address, if indeed this issue needs any addressing at all? ... Smiley

 Alert Admin 		I don't know if SGX welcomes ideas and information from the public.  It is headed by an US Caucasian (Previously from NASDAQ), so will he accept our thinking?  Difficult to say, but can try. When free, will write them.  Last time I complained on something, and they said it was not their policy to discuss on public discontent on company matters, or something like that.  Sorry, I had erased the email so cannot reproduce here. Whenever we see something we feel is wayward  we should write them for the interests of individual investors whether they take action or not.

The best way to prevent excessive shorting is to impose a limit of quantity on short trades per person or per account.  Banks and financial institutions should be barred from shorting because they are the only ones using other people's money and doing shorting means taking money from clients and depressing their assets in return.  Wake up bright ones who lead in the global stock exchanges if you really want a healthy stock market where values are not eroded wilfully!

      always separate a company from its stock...

          Because they are in reality and practice, two separate entities...

 Alert Admin 		In the first place SGX aims for business revenue so .......... maximising trading volume by placing any strategic capital market rule and constraint ..... and related market participant follow suit...... so two sided trading and investing i.e. long also short allowed to create huge and desired trading volume..... on and on subsequently all un- expected and wrong doing by market participant enlarge as such........ in short... GHOST circle loop exist .... finally capital market disaster!!!
