STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

So far, kind of a Bias Bull Run.

Although STI jump pretty High to over 3071, but majority stocks only inched up a bit.

For the last 2 weeks, STI Surge was dominated by only a few counters, mainly by Genting SP.

I'm expecting the rest of the Counters to start Running soon, either starting next week or beginning Oct.

Right now, I'm fully vested and waiting to take profit.


There is nothing to Buy or Sell now, it's either too early or too late.

Guess, I can take a break.

Americans again increase retail buying,

WASHINGTON (AFP) US retail sales rose for the 2nd straight month in August, the govt said Tuesday, raising hopes that Americans are returning to the shops. Retail sales rose 0.4% to 364 billion dollars versus the month before and 3.6% above the same month last year. Americans spent more on food and clothes, but less on cars and electronics. The figures were slightly better than forecast by most economists.

"This level of growth is consistent with expectations of steady spending over the next few months," said economists at Briefing.com.

But there was a note of caution: "Retail sales are likely to remain weak for quite a while given the current trends in employment, and the negative wealth impact for depressed prices for homes and stocks," they said
