Tonite Dow Jones cnt drop more dan -200pts. If yes...

Tmr Nikkei'll open red. SSE & STI'll open red too. If Hangseng drops more dan -400pts.

STI'll drop @ least -50pts. Means corrections r cming... If tmr nite Dow Jones again drop more dan -200pts. So nxt day 14-Oct-2010 (Thu) STI'll drop -80pts.

 

Now, we hope dat Dow Jones muzn't drop more dan -200pts...

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index has broken the support at 3162 and pullbacks as investors take profits ahead of earnings.

Important points to note

1) In weekly charts, a white candle sticks with upper shadow similar to “shooting star” indicates profit taking and the weakness of the recent rally.

2) The weekly trading volume remains relatively same as investors awaits the earnings report starting next week.

3) MACD and RSI indicators are bullish though RSI already at “overbought” region.

4) STI is currently sustained by major 2 years high resistance turned support at 3043

5) STI failed to close above the major resistance at 3162 (28 months high) over the week.

Important resistance of STI: 3162 (Daily charts)

Immediate Support of STI: 3043 (Daily charts)

MY tactics: US monetary easing will likely have impact on the stocks market. Attached above is the performance chart of US dollars vs S&P500. Watch the reverse relationship on how stock market rises when US dollars drops.
