What happens when there is a reverse of carry trades? Remember the build up of Japanese Yen carry trades and the reversals that caused havocs?

Unless you are trading in the US Stock Market, I don't think you should overly-worry over this issue.

It makes sense to keep some good penny stocks and the fact that those who have weathered the storm, will emerged stronger.  Just park some $$ into pennies and wait for the harvest.

They are just like gold, waiting to be picked up......the time will come

Just need to be more patient..... the returns are hefty...easily 2,000 or 3,000 percent.

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index has managed to close above the resistance of 3200 for the week as investors remains bullish on earning announcement.

Important points to note

1) In weekly charts, a white candle sticks with little upper/lower shadow affirm to the bullishness of the investors.

2) The weekly trading volume raised much higher as investors buy on “anticipated earning reports”

3) MACD and RSI indicators are bullish though RSI already at “overbought” region.

4) STI is currently sustained by 28 months high resistance turned support at 3200

5) STI managed to close first time for the week above the 28 months high resistance at 3200

Important resistance of STI: 3268 (Daily charts)

Immediate Support of STI: 3200 (Daily charts)

MY tactics: Facts that you should know before entry now.

1)     STI RSI already at overbought region and we have pointed out the previous time that this was happened using the purple arrow

2)     Traders are buying in anticipation that earning report will be good. Sell on news may be the next trend.

3)     Fed reserve’s new also serve as a boost for the market.

Look @ e Top Vol. Counters now... Actually vol. r v v low. Only Blue Chips can make STI high.

Even if STI reaches 3,300pts oso no use. Cos 95% of Counters r not moving. They r only left / rite pockets in & out transactions only.

Of cos, smtimes they'll select sm Counters 2 play ard... If not, where got fresh bloods cm in2 mkt & buy shares rite?

Those Counters dat last yr hv climbed sky high... They wun push again liao. Unless got gd / bad news...

SGX definitely owes an explanation on :  Why S-chips listed in SGX  dont perform well. What action should be taken.

Most S-chips dont adopt  'share buy-back' also.
