I got a suggestion! Why don't we just set the time, date and location... anyone who's interested just turn up wearing Jeans and Black T-shirt or something? Mystery gathering! Except that the authorities might think there's going to be a gang fight or something when they see a large crowd form.... hahaha! :) |

as recommended by TABBYCAT Best arrangement is buffet dinner. No need to organise or collecting money. Just arrange the place and time. You pay for your own meal. Any other suggestion is welcome. |

I think first of all, we need a volunteer to assist in collating the no. of registrations and their contact nos. An e-mail address or link has to be provided for forumers to register. Deadline need to be set to gauge the response before deciding on the venue. If the response is overwhelming, may need to set up a committee. It is not so easy..... Organising for ex-schoolmates gathering/reunion is already such a challenge. Here, we "dont know" each other. Just my thought :) |

To make it easier, choose a date first... say 25 Feb 07 (Sunday, 8th day of lunar new year) for lunch... if response is good then we fix the venue. |

Humble House and Raffles Club sound good too:). I have no problems. Yes, it might be difficult to hold a conversation at a hawker centre. I think Raffles Club would be a good choice. I'll watch you guys play golf:). I am into tennis:). |

Come on guys...hawker ctr?? Definitely there's a a more comfortable place inside esplanade such as My Humble House? Anyway my suggestion is to book a private room in Raffles Country Club for dinner after a game of golf there. Afterwhich, we can have some expert such as singaporegal to do some coaching or presentation on TA or related topics...ipunter too...haha! ;-p |

Some suggestions of makan places near city accessible by MRT: 1) near Esplanade hawker ctr - (+) cheap, alfresco dining (-) may be crowded and subject to weather conditions 2) Marina Square - (+) aircon big spacious food court and also many choices of food. Also lower level has a few restaurants if we decide to (-) prices may be higher than hawker centre Any other suggestions? |
