Palm oil "lau horn".. report from palm oil hq look bearish.....

"Market participants are concerned about the availability of oils. If the USDA (report) turns out to be price-friendly, palm oil prices may extend the rally next week towards a psychological level of MYR3,700/ton," said a broker at Kuala Lumpur-based commodities brokerage.

Still, some among traders cautioned that those bullish on palm oil may find it hard to support the rally, as export demand has declined.

"With palm oil prices rising close to a 29-month high amid slowing export demand prospects due to the winter months, some traders may want to take their money off the table next week," said a vegetable oils exporter in Singapore.

Demand for palm oil slows in winter months due to its tendency to cloud over in cold weather.

   But my definition of trader is not confined to senseless punting...

        By trading, I really mean buy and sell in a sensible and strategic manner...

            Even if one trades once in 3 months or once in 6 months...

               that, to me, is trading...

                  Thus, there's no such thing as "pure trader"... Smiley

              I have found that investors are more daring than traders.

                      but I have deep respect for traders, regardless of their trade size,

                         since many of them could have been investors

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index trend directionless under low trading volume as traders are waiting for more catalyst ahead for better entry level

1) In weekly charts, black candle stick with LONG upper/lower shadow similar to “Doji” indicates that investors are waiting for more cues ahead before entry.

2) The weekly trading volume falls lower as more investors are keeping sidelined.

3) MACD and RSI indicators are flat as MACD lines are conversed together.

4) STI is currently supported by the resistance turned support at 3148.

5) STI range bound between 3213 to 3148 as investors are hesitant to bring the prices higher especially with the recent news of interest move by Beijing.

Important resistance of STI: 3213 (Daily charts)

Immediate Support of STI: 3148 (Daily charts)

Traders are mere doing their business as usual, to meet quota, they don take more risk then what they required. 

For eg - when traders bot into certain share, expecting to sell off, then px when down, they will buy at lower end after px fall and when it px is up 1-2 ct, traders sell and level off, till they 1st bot that certain share is par down.
