Dun worry, things go high will come down one. You may consider to use the method I posted earlier on how to counter naked shorting. DJ must topples above 200pts then it got some effect to trigger the down turn in the global markets. last high this mth is on 18-420.41(but STI dropped 0.37 on 19), worst -291 on 19(STI up 102.88 on 24). For your reference, good luck. |

It is not that I can lun, I intend to leave it open overnight. But last minute change mind that it went up above 7.72, evetually I sold mine at 7.74. If it went up so aggressively, I am just afraid that it will come down fast as well tomorrow. So to play safe, liquidate position and start again tomorrow, if the condition is nice!.....last 2 days, I looked at SGX's chart and bet based on my view on the chart. Ended up beaten badly. This morning also look at chart and short 7.26, sigh still bow out. So this afternoon, decided not to look at chart and ask my broker to tikam for me lah! I think my client brought me luck...lol! Must buy him beer over the weekend! | ||

Idesa, congrate, you really can lun ah. I downloaded mine around 1545hrs when there was down sign of 10.71, ranging from 7.51-7.54. Ai yah, the market is so unpredictatble, even with those so-called analysts, crying almost all corners saying that market will be very pessimistic today due to imminent plunge DJ tonite. Starting from the morning, the down side curve at STI was observed till around 1600hrs, market U turned. Lets see what we can do in the buoyant market tomorrow. Cheers |

Wah, just come back and glued to my computer, did not see so many ppl "lun" for me.....actually I was not worried at all and happily taking lunch with my client...hehehe...Sorry guys, made all of you so worried...LOL. I was kinda of moody during the meeting, lost SGX straight 3 days, then it brightened up now at the end of the day. At least I am not so suay with SGX...hehehe!!! Now got excess from the loss this morning. OK, let's do it again tomorrow.....mmm, I saw Nick's post, not doing well. Let's do it together tomorrow, Friday good day to short! Cheers! | ||

Back from meeting....wah, went up so much. When I left my office to meet my client, something just tell me that it is wrong to leave my short open. So I called my broker and tell her to cut for me is SGX wnt up tp 7.32 (I shorted 7.26 x 2 lots). When I reached my client office, a call from her and I am off the string liao 200+ gone with the wind. Then when I finished I called her again, she said SGX was at 7.50, feel so good to let go at 7.32. She also said there is a possibility that it will go up further, so I took her advise and buy up 2 lots hope to recoup by $200...hehehe. Now 7.61, can sell and cover back my loss liao....Nick, how are you doing? | ||

SGX closed at 7.48, still goning strong, out of expectation leow, though today mid's day volume was just a miserable 5k as compared to 11,15,10 on 24,25 and yesterday respectively. The open price was 7.30, if someone Q last night to short at 7.30, he may make some kopi money as its price gone as low as 7.16, but your fingers must be fast. Last night I Q to sell, not short, it at 7.30(ten bids lower than closing price) as I expected it will dumpled should DJ plunged heavily. Reason, just to cut loss loh. Morning found DJ dropped not that bad leh, before market opens, I withdrew them all. When market opened, manage to buy few at 7.22. Later, I cleared few at 7.32, panic lah. Subsequently I hold the horse, those people at the counter still around, as market up or down they also make money. Hope for the best. BTW, Idesa is smart one, should be able to get of his Short leow. |
