Morning was the opportunity to cut loss.

Closed my long position on GAR at 0.74. Bot at 0.775 after result released. Thought it will go up, but never happen.

Closed my GSP at 2.16; bought at 2.15 last Fri.

Now only left some GSP bot at 2.28. This will keep for 4Q.

Now is not the time to buy, because can get it cheaper later. Wait for 1 - 2 weeks for the consolidation to complete, then load up good stocks. My pick

- Noble (Commodities) at 2.02

-OCBC (Banking) at 9.35

- GSP (Gaming) at 2.08

 Diversified and good growth. All the best .  Smiley

 Alert Admin 		I'd sold Gensp & Gar , total loss $4.6K :-( .  Another 10 lots Gar also must sell by today or latest tomorrow if not pay up . What a terrible week (heavy px to pay) , if we were to sell before result we won't be in this sorry state :-(

i dunno wat to say... USD direction is very teething. Recap our wkend chat, if STI opens flat (after factoring that djia ended on Fri's red) is as good as lucky stars calling upon us to offload already ma, although sort of optimistic target 0.75.., 0.740-0.745 can also do.

be patient firewood, meanwhile hav a stop loss in mind all trades we shld think of that before entry. We wait for uptick this aftern yup.

I sold half of my long cfd positions of Gar this morning, in case i need to hedge frm on the cash a/c. Hope there's no need to becos psychologically i find it very conflicting. As long as it holds steady 0.72 - 0.735 pls don't slip further.

ya i was thinking of bailing out on genting hk. but heart pain that time did not take profit now breakeven at best, maybe loss to forex.

 

but for GAR. i 70% vested in GAR! and it dropped so much! next time must forcefully cut, cannot wait for so long. now is like the start of bear market. haiz. and i bought at the 2 year high for GAR. Zzz

should have sold hk at .535 range, at least could cover some of the losses from GAR.

cut and pray it goes lower so that i can re enter and recoup the losses. or just let it be and wait for the ride up.

if cut, and it rises up before i re enter, my losses are permanent.

if dont cut, and it continues dropping, my heart cannot take it, and i will hate myself for buying to early resulting in 1 losses, 2 opportunity cost of not being able to buy at low and profit.

hi guys, me tooo kana stuck with these stocks too..

i bought gen sp at 2.18 and 2.25...and GAR at 0.765 and mapletree ind at 1.17 and 1.19..

my losses is big too!

Such a good advice.

Market has been so bullish in this run up nobody should be losing $$. If you are then something is not right in whatever approach you are adopting. Tweak and adjust accordingly.

It is very dangerous to trade stock based on what others say. You don;t know the motive of the others when he/she said that.You are simply gambling/speculating.

One should at least put in some effort to learn TA, it is not 100% correct, but it serves as an early indicators just like traffic signs on the roads.

With this knowledge, do your own informed judgement and make your trade.

Finally, trade within your means and put in place an exit strategy whenever you open a position.
