Hi Mr Daniel. Sent you some pms but no reply so would like to ask you a few questions here. Firstly, do you have any good websites/avenues i could pick up more on TA? I am currently mostly trying to learn from what i can google.
Secondly, i am holding a few stocks like GMG and China Gaoxian, do you recommand letting go of these stocks even at a small loss if the market is going to continue in correction phase or is this correction not severe enough so that i should not let go first?
Sorry if i am asking so many questions.. thank you very much!

because right. .they haven seen such a huge jump and expotential increase recently.. and therefore there's no need for much consolidation yet.. if you never realize.. the last 1 month or so, genting hk kana consolidated down ward trend.. so their consolidation at that period over liao .... GENTING IS NOT NOT a good buy.. it is good... definitely.. but everything that goes up must come down.. so now it's our turn to consolidate and come down for awhile lor.. don't worry.. the end is in sight soon... gonna cross over macd also already... the problem with genting sp is that the consolidation is very steep.. very sharp.. unlike genting hk.. which was on a downward trend over a month .. ours is kana whipsaw... | ||||

Malaysia Genting is currently trading up, so is Genting HK in HongKong, Sands China and Wynn Too.... but how come Genting SP and Genting HK in SG is trading down.... Sianz.... |

hi !! haha it's daniel wong spelt backwards hahaha leniadgnow... umm im not there yet la.. got BT and a few others so much more senior then me haha i'm only 21 and i've been in the market for only 4 years... i'm lucky cause got father who is a oil trader to guide me .. as well as i have learnt from citibank fx trading as well as phillips poems.... and some seniors who have earn over 300-400k in 3 years in smu .. so ya.. only became active in this forum like 3 days ago as i see people hit so hard by genting and golden agri ... and i don't want them to make the same mistake as i did when i first started out which is fear.. greed .. ignorance and hope.. which cost me about 38% of my entire portfolio until my dad bailed me out..super duper painful experience.. so.. do feel free to ask me anything about teching ... for fundamental.. i did learn it before.. but i'm not super in depth FA like mr.warren.buffett.. i'm more inclined towards the teaching of jesse livermore and george soros hahaha |

gaecia.. that's why i say ... GAR sibei jia lat.. u see their charting.. absolutely no support whatsoever in sight... due to that super white long candlestick... my best advice for GAR people if it continues going down is this... sell your GAR and consolidate your losses.. Since you sell ur GAR means u think that the market is going to further go down and not reverse right? the only right thing to do is to short it. short it and make back some money... that's the best advice i can give to anyone who's losing alot alot of money.. it can't recoup EVERYTHING .. but it can help abit. |

whoa like that everyone wants to sell how will gar's prx go up later? i'm into cash trade so i shld hold beyond today right? Gar i sold it 0.775 the same day Before lunch break's earnings announcement because to take profits off the table those i bought at 0.705 the wk before. However after earnings results i q to buy 0.775 again during the break thinking there'll be gapup and uptrend again. That Thurs aftern released 40% Gar to sell at 0.77 like cannotfind because it wasn't moving and too much nerves for me with gensp coming out in the evening. Wrong move to buy again at double my previous holding. After Gar's lesson that same day i forgot to apply the same practice of closing out my gsp's positions in cash a/c before earnings becos it was hovering at 2.32 And didn't dare to hedge it on cfd either. A costly oversight. |

Thanks for sharing, spiderman_er ! Yah, like u , GAR was bought aft result , thought it will go up too but it didn't & bought Gensp high at 2.33 for the result but another disappointment, haiz :-( Better luck next time !

hi guys!! im back .. sorry have been sleeping at 8am everyday due to my hectic studying and trading schedule.. anyway... GAR might fall and hit 0.7 as it is testing it's support line of 0.715-0.72 now .. if that falls.. 0.7 is almost plausible.. GAR absolutely almost no support due to the super duper high candle stick the other time.. so free fall downwards quite scary ... For genting, testing 2.12 support now... if that fails.. u can start looking at 2.07 and 2 as supported by its 50 day MA ... if it breaks 2.12.. it's a CLEAR signal of a bearish market dropping towards the bottom of the bollingerband which coincides with MA50..but the end is near... it's gonna hit the bottom of the bollingerband which coincides with 2.05-2.07 .. thus my tp price to buy at 2.05-2.08 .. I say again. .i only offer you teching and fundamental advice... you can slam meand say that i'm bearish .. you can say i'm just a techie with charts.. and it's the market sentiment thats everything.... you can say that i dunno what im talking about and refuse to listen... but all i can say again.. is that the market never lies... the chart which is a reflection and a statistics of the market's sentiment never wavers... so i stick by it .. and it has done me well so far.. you wanna listen...good for you.... dun want to then just take it as a mad man ranting.... please don't pm me stupid stuff..Anyway .. my views are in line with this other guy who i feel offers very in depth teching but a bit long winded... www.diaryofasingaporetrader.blogspot.com Cheerios |
