because you all see BT making money and all gian go jump in the ship and chase stocks. whats with buying GAR at 0.775 and GSP at 2.30+? now all get burnt. when market sentiment is too good to be true, take a step back and be risk averse. when market sentiment is in very bad shape, take a look at good FA counters and be a risk taker. so start looking for good stocks now, buy later on when nobody else is buying :)

Lesson learnt: do your own research, never rely on others.

Singapore shares slips on negative Wall Street cue.

   I am sure Sifu Pharoah is a chart user, and thus is not against stock charting.

      I agree with him because,

         even with the best TA or charting tools in the whole world,

            one can only place a bet after much 'technical' study the charts.

               And this is important:  It is still a bet (much like a bet in a casino).

                  Thus in this context, it is not unreasonable to say it's a 50/50 proposition.

Singapore Stocks-Likely to fall, Ascendas REIT in focus

SINGAPORE, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Singapore shares may open lower on Tuesday, tracking Wall Street indices that ended mostly lower overnight, as investors turned more risk averse due to fears that Ireland's debt problems could spread to the rest of Europe.

Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust , which owns mainly Singapore industrial properties, may be in focus after it said it is actively exploring investment opportunities in China and has set up a representative office in Shanghai.

with the world in such a messed up state, personal opinion is to bail out 1st. wait for dust to settle before going in.

if must trade, make it intraday. but with bad news coming out every 2-3 days from different country, not easy.

STI red for a few days liao, probably consolidating or low volume distribution. havent seen the charts myself. donno where to find STI charts. and too busy to find.

best idea to me, bail out, take note which of the blue chip suffered the most during this crisis, and MAU like ipunter would say big on it.

GAR got analyst report say worth 90 cents. donno i got chance to bail my remaining holdings anot.
