Singtel not for me, hardly ever bought blue chips. Am more interested in stocks that can double or triple when bull run starts. Looking more at China Sky, Midas, Cacola, Man Wah and the like. Swiber looking good too. These stocks have taken a good walloping lately and downside risks appear limited. Upside? Double, triple? Worth the risk I say, if you spread your bets. |

Self not vested....yet...waiting.....got few hundred k in war chest. Strategy is to start nibling very soon and spread over 10/12 months (best advice I can give anybody) Hope to be millionaire in 2 to 3 years time |

bsiong, to me all counters are...it is easier with volume and vice versa...trade/invest with extra care always...buyers and sellers agree to disagree...that is why the market exists. I had owned 9, but is left with only 3. |

majority do not recommend this counter, no volume, mostly inactive; a manipulated counter... trade with extra care... besides, i do not agree with you on pts 1 & 2, especially 2. take care. |

My reasons are : - 1. Operating performance at GP Batteries is getting better. 2. I expect the US$ to strengthen in the future, which in turn should provide some respite to the company in the face of raw material price increases, higher energy costs and declining demand from the US. 3. I expect the future price of raw material and energy costs to move in its favour too. hlayar, I believe you meant why? |
